Unorganised Workers Social Security (Karnataka) (Amendment) Rules, 2024

The Labour Department, Govt. of Karnataka on December 03, 2024, issued the Unorganised Workers Social Security (Karnataka) (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Unorganised Workers Social Security (Karnataka) Rules 2009.

This shall come into force on December 03, 2024.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that after rule 12 a new rule shall be inserted - “13. Annual Report.- An annual report in Form IV on the working of the Board during the preceding ending on 31 March shall be laid, as soon as may be, after it is made, before each House of the State Legislature, after 1st day of April every year and not later than 31st day of December, along with audited copies of accounts and the auditor’s report.” 

• It states that after Form III, a new Form shall be inserted – “Form IV - ANNUAL REPORT”.
