EPFO notified regarding the modifications in the Audit Manual

The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) on January 03, 2025, notified regarding the modifications in the Audit Manual.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that the Chairperson of the Apex HQ Audit Committee is now CPFC; members include FA & CAO and ACC(HQ).

• A new provision shall be inserted in Chapter 3 of the Audit Manual "The Internal Audit Team of MoLE may be deputed by the Ministry to assess the utilization of Grant in Aid vis-a-vis the purpose of the grant."

• A separate Chapter on the scope, conduct, and process of replying to Performance Audits is added.
